Nowadays, the means of protecting apartments, as well as the methods used by criminals to penetrate them, are being improved in parallel. Today, it is not enough to put metal-plastic windows, doors or a balcony, install a video surveillance system, or an intercom in the entrance. Theoretically, a trained professional can easily enter any apartment by opening a door, window or balcony.
Currently, the number of thefts by experienced burglars is increasing every day.
It is important to prevent theft.
In multi-apartment buildings, criminals can enter through the windows of the first floors if:
– plastic windows are not equipped with a protective system;
– PVC is not equipped with a special protective mechanism;
– anti-burglar fittings are not installed;
– the double-glazed window protecting from breaking is not strengthened;
– triplex technology (film armor coatings) was not used on plastic windows and balcony doors.
When choosing a double-glazed window, pay special attention to the protection class. There are currently three protection classes:
Class “A” – withstands the impact of a thrown stone, sticks without forming a through hole.
Class “B” – withstands a strong blow with a heavy object that could punch a hole through which a person could crawl.
Class “B” – bulletproof protective glazing, it withstands a firearm bullet without forming a through hole.
In addition, the film is applied to the already installed glass, without requiring dismantling or replacement of the double-glazed window, and in case of a very large impact, which is not unimportant, all glass fragments will be contained by the armored film.
Today, the most effective PVC protection against burglary is an armor film coating, which is applied inside the window structure. Its viscous polymeric environment holds back broken glass shards.
The use of film armor coatings increases:
– impact resistance;
– safety;
– protection from solar UV radiation;
– heat saving;
– soundproofing;
– explosion safety;
– aesthetics;
– confidentiality.
If at least some of our advice is taken into account when installing metal-plastic windows, doors and balconies and everything is done correctly, then penetration into the apartment becomes difficult. Faced with such problems, the perpetrator may, and most often does, give up his intentions.
